Position Summary

The Chemical & Chromatography Product Sales Manager role at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. offers an outstanding chance for an ambitious professional to drive the growth of the chemical and chromatography business. You will drive business expansion in the Benelux and Nordics regions, connecting with customers in academia, pharmaceuticals, biotech, industry, and research and development.   • Develop and implement a strategic and tactical sales plan to achieve growth in your region.
  • Identify and lead strategic growth opportunities with key customers.
  • Collaborate with field-based and inside sales teams to drive product-related sales activities.
  • Maintain outstanding business knowledge relevant to the managed product group, including competitor activity.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers, facilitating collaboration with account managers. Negotiate improved terms to enhance profitability for the company.
  • Effectively communicate Thermo Fisher's value proposition to collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.
  • Empower commercial teams to grow the defined portfolio through effective communication and influence.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or Business with significant, relevant industry-specific experience, preferably in the research laboratory industry or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven sales experience.
  • Strong technical and laboratory experience in relevant subjects.
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant subjects.
  • Laboratory experience across pharmaceutical, industrial, and academic sectors, with a solid understanding of the current marketplace for laboratory products.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Strong interpersonal, oral, written communication, and presentation skills.
