CHI Commercial Finance Manager EMEA (m/f/d)

Fantastic opportunity to join Lonza as Commercial Finance Manager for EMEA in Colmar! We are looking for a driven finance business partner to the Sales and BU teams, ensuring financial compliance and supporting commercial activities, as well as leading day-to-day finance operations.

Key responsibilities:

• Take a supporting role in the region and in Finance, to help deliver on business objectives and strategies.

• Coordinate and drive along with RBU Finance the relevant planning and analysis processes such as long-term planning (BSR), annual budget, outlooks, and forecasts for the region (commercial).

• Lead monthly closing and reporting.

• Supervise and track the rebates accruals vs. expectation in collaboration with the sales teams.

• Drive the monthly risks and opportunities process.

• Work closely with the Sub Regions and be a valuable collaborator in the S&OP process (verify volumes and prices with sales, supervise inventory levels and customer payment behavior).

• Collaborate with customers to develop pricing recommendations and credit limits, actively participate in regional pricing strategy, and facilitate the approval process with global collaborators.

• Share global responsibility for CHI financial and management accounting in accordance with IFRS, the Lonza Finance Accounting Manual (FAM), and other required accounting principles.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent experience in the field.

• Advanced knowledge in Excel.

• Knowledge in SAP is a nice to have.

• Proficient in English and knowledge in French is an advantage.

• Proven experience in finance and in product-based business.

• The person will be based in Colmar and will have to go 3 to 5 times per month to the site of Basel.
