WHO YOU ARE
As theChief Data Officer (CDO) for Technology, you will define and execute an end to-end data strategy and roadmap to support the Tech strategy, goals and objectives. You will also represent Tech at the Enterprise Data Governance Steering committee.
You will evolve and govern the Tech data strategy, analytics, reporting and platforms to define our information assets, transform data into business value at scale, democratize data by building self-service capabilities and build a leading Data and Analytics organization.
You are an experienced senior leader with a proven track record of data and analytics transformations in complex compliance intensive data environments.
You will direct a high-performing, cross-discipled capability that possesses deep experience in risk management, process optimization, data analytics and visualization, and data science.
Furthermore, you:
Have experience building teams within the fields of data governance, data architecture, data science and analytics as well as business insights
Have expertise in crafting a compelling data strategy and architecture to unlock value of data assets spread across a disparate and complex data ecosystem
Have outstanding executive communication skills, connecting the dots between business strategy and outcomes, data strategy and execution of data and analytics initiatives
Are analytical, creative, collaborative and comfortable driving change, and transforming the most valuable ideas into actionable plans, products and results
Are a strong collaborator with experience leading initiatives across and partnering with multiple groups and stakeholders
Are knowledgeable of data practices (e.g., Operational Data Store, Master Data Management, Data Lakes) and tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Azure, Oracle, Snowflake, Python, R, Incorta)

Define the vision and establish a strong operating model across Tech leadership and practices in alignment with the Enterprise Data Governance Policy and Strategy to ensure aligned strategies, roadmaps and execution
Partner with stakeholders across the organization - building trusted relationships that enable effective collaboration and consultation required to understand the needs of the business and deliver expected value.
As a subject matter expert in risk and control, develops data-driven solutions that enable stakeholders to identify risks in near-real time, provides a view into the operating effectiveness of their controls, and identifies opportunities to optimize controls through the use of automation and advanced analytics.
Identifies objectives and key results (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide leadership with a clear understanding of the operational effectiveness of their respective business.
Provides management and operational reporting to the Technology Leadership Team - through analytics insights enabling the ability to prioritize and confirm the success of department initiatives and investments
Promote automated means to data quality and control; identify and address key obstacles or conflict; advocate areas of transformation or process change; and actively participate with digital product and service excellence teams to foster an informed, educated and aligned program with the field
Promote data security, meeting the expectations of our clients, regulators and shareholders.
Proactively champion the value of information (data) as a strategic business asset with senior leadership.
Create a virtuous cycle of platform adoption with improved data insights and streamlined publishing/ access.
