Chief Engineer

Applied Research Solutions is seeking a Chief Engineer (SME) for an opportunity located at Hanscom AFB, in Bedford, Massachusetts. This vital role will assist in establishing a commonIT architecture and program/technical roadmap for all the IT programs in the Air Force.

Position Details Include:

• Senior IT expertise within "big picture systems engineering" in the IT/network domain
• Must have cloud experience
• Must have Identity, Credential Management (ICAM) experience
• Working knowledge of Zero Trust technology
• Prior Air Force or DoD environment experience
• Must have current/prior leadership experience
• Advanced presentation skills
• Individual will perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical experience required:

• Advanced Degree (MA/MS)15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 years of which must be in the DoD
• or a BA/BS degree and 20 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 10 of which must be in the DoD
• or 25 years of directly related experience with proper certifications as described in the Functionally Aligned Job Descriptions, 10 of which must be in the DoD
• Active Top Secret Security Clearance
• Must be a US citizen
