Pax Properties is looking for a maintenance Manager to join their team at their beautiful Equus Inn hotel in Ocala, FL!

As our Maintenance Manager, it's up to you to lead our maintenance techs through example, experience, and professionalism. You'll be in charge of keeping our hotels running through repairs and maintenance that allow us to continue delivering extraordinary value to our guests.

If hired, you'll be responsible for the following..

Responsibilities: 

• Performing preventative maintenance and repair duties; including but not limited to HVAC, refrigeration systems, plumbing, lighting, sheet rock, and painting.
• Monitor and maintain all building systems (as assigned)
• Complete all maintenance service requests (as assigned)
• Communicate with all guests, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees professionally and with courtesy
• Alert General Manager of any unusual occurrences and/or damages that have or may occur
• Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, local, City, State, and Federal guidelines
• Respond to all guest and colleague maintenance issues in a timely fashion
• Keep accurate records of assigned tasks and convey information and ideas clearly

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years experience in hotel maintenance
• Great organizational and leadership skills preferred
• Scheduled hours may include weekends and off-hour times based on the ongoing operational needs of the hotel
• HVAC and Pool Cleaning Certifications strongly preferred
• All applicants may be subject to background and drug testing
