FULLY REMOTE ROLE
As the Chief Financial Officer of Peak6 InsurTech Services LLC, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial strategy and overseeing the financial operations of our company, which includes three brands, Team Focus Insurance Group LLC, MacNeill Group Inc. and We Insure LLC, under the Peak6 InsurTech umbrella. You will collaborate with executive leadership, lead financial management efforts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong financial background, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving financial excellence in the insurance and technology industry.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the financial strategy for InsurTech Services LLC, aligning it with the company's mission and vision.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, cash flow management, and forecasting, to drive growth and profitability.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement strategic plans, operational policies, and performance metrics.
• Lead financial reporting and analysis, providing insights to support decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, maintaining a strong internal control environment.
• Foster a culture of financial discipline and accountability across the organization, driving continuous improvement in financial processes.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including financial institutions, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Oversee financial aspects of M&A activities and capital investment decisions.

Tools and Reporting Responsibilities:

• Utilize financial management software, business intelligence tools, and data analytics platforms for data-informed decision-making.
• Provide regular financial reports, analysis, and forecasts to executive leadership and the board of directors.

Decision Making Authority:
As the CFO, you will have decision-making authority on financial matters, strategic initiatives, resource allocation, and major financial decisions. You will collaborate with executive leadership and the board of directors to ensure alignment and approval for critical financial matters.

• Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop high-performing financial teams.
• Strong financial acumen and strategic thinking abilities, with a track record of driving financial excellence in the insurance and technology industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional decision-making and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex financial situations and make sound judgments.
• Deep understanding of financial operations in the insurance industry, including P&C insurance and technology-enabled solutions.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong ethical values and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field. An MBA or CPA is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in senior financial leadership roles within the insurance and technology industry.
• Demonstrated success in driving financial performance, managing risk, and leading financial transformation.
• Previous experience with Business Process Outsourcing, Software as a Service and Franchise or Agency experience preferred.
• Experience building or rebuilding an accounting and financial reporting team and infrastructure.

Work Environment:
As the Chief Financial Officer, you will primarily work in an office setting, collaborating with executives, managers, and financial teams. Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings and industry events.
Physical Requirements:
The position of Chief Financial Officer does not require specific physical demands beyond standard office activities, such as sitting, standing, and computer usage.
