Chief Human Resources Officer

Location:  Headquartered in Bethesda, MD (No remote delivery). This role is based in Bethesda, MD and is currently on a hybrid in-office schedule of Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (firmwide policy).

Responsible for developing and implementing human resource programs and strategies and for managing the human resources team.  Functions include: strategic planning, talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, compensation, benefits, training & development, management development, organizational development and much more.  As a member of the Executive Management Team, this individual will work directly with the CEO reporting to the CFO and advise executives and senior management on human resource issues and provide input to the business planning process.

This is a full-time executive opportunity based in our headquarters in Bethesda MD, with a heavy emphasis on interpersonal interaction and no remote delivery options.  A strong preference will be given to candidates local to the DC Metro Area. 

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in HR leadership positions holding management responsibilities
• Experience in design, development and implementation of compensation plans (strongly preferred) and benefit programs (required) 
• Knowledge of and the ability to advise on federal, state and local government HR related regulations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and advanced interpersonal skills
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Experience in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• HR Experience within asset management strongly preferred
