What you'll do
This is an executive role that will lead all GTM activities including demand generation, pipeline, product strategy, content strategy and brand. We have an established executive team and amazing marketing team, we are looking for the right CMO to take our business to the next level. This is a highly collaborative role with sales, product and operations, we are not a siloed company, as all of these things work together to deliver an amazing customer experience.
This is a senior leadership role that requires a deep understanding of B2B, Account Based Marketing and the ability to effectively position Billd as a trusted brand and partner to subcontractors across the US. We are looking for a proven executive and marketing leader that has experience driving pipeline and establishing a compelling B2B brand within an industry.
This role is based in our HQ office in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities:
- As a member of the executive leadership team, contribute to the wider discussion, strategy, and execution of the company's vision and mission.
- Create and drive a strategic marketing strategy that aligns with the company's growth objectives.
- Define and promote the company's brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and communication materials.
- Define and implement operational metrics, KPIs, and other measurements of success that measure, optimize and continually improve efficiency and effectiveness of marketing programs, tactics, and strategy.
- Develop and manage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources strategically to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
- Partner with sales leadership to develop cohesive strategies for sales enablement tools, materials and training programs that support lead conversion and business growth.
- Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team. Provide guidance, mentorship and feedback to marketing leaders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices, advancement in B2B marketing to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
Must have:
- 10 to 15+ years of proven experience in Marketing and/or prior experience as a CMO in a fast-growing, fintech or lending company
- Demonstrated ability to help scale an organization from $20M to $100M experience highly preferred, series B through exit
- Extensive experience with B2B Marketing
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or related fields
- Obsession with understanding and learning what motivates our customer
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills
- High accountability to meet deadlines and lead numerous projects simultaneously under time constraints

- Experience within the financial services and/or construction industry
- Master's degree in Marketing, MBA or related fields
