Chief Marketing Strategist

IntelliBridge is an award-winning national security company looking for a Chief Marketing Strategist to support our contract with the Department of Justice.

The Chief Marketing Strategist will lead strategy for the National Insitute of Justice (NIJ), an office within the Department of Justice, in all of their marketing and communication needs. Current channels for NIJ marketing include social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube), email, website, Google Ads, events and conferences, and ad buys (sponsored emails, display ads, etc.). The Chief Marketing Strategist will lead overall communications strategy, pitch new campaign ideas, events, and support development of marketing collateral including short-form videos, podcasts, and infographics.

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Lead the development and execution of a high-level strategic marketing and communications plan for the NIJ communications contract.
• Serve as main point-of-contact between the marketing team and NIJ federal staff.
• Mentor development of two direct report marketing strategists.
• Provide direction and consulting services to improve adoption of best practices.
• Pitch, design, implement, and project manage marketing campaigns and outreach projects.
• Analyze, evaluate, and report on performance of marketing content/campaigns make recommendations for future iterations.
• Collaborate with other internal contractor teams and federal employees to develop and monitor strategic marketing initiatives.
• Pitch new campaign ideas and manage development of visual marketing collateral (with support of the graphic design team) including short-form videos, podcasts, infographics, and GIFs.
• Write, proofread, and edit creative and technical content across different mediums.
• Research, propose, and execute paid ad campaigns including social media platforms, Google Ads, display ads, sponsored emails, and other potential ad placements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or related field
• 10+ years relevant experience
• Experience leading a team
• Skilled in writing and editing content with an attention to detail
• Strong prioritization, organization, and project management skills
• Experience in a client-facing role
• Government and/or criminal justice experience
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Data Studio, native analytics on social platforms, or GovDelivery

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in related field
