Operating out of its research and development facility in the Greater Boston Area. Factorial holds a portfolio of solid-state innovations, including its segment-leading FEST® (Factorial Electrolyte System Technology). The company entered joint development agreements with Mercedes-Benz, Stellantis, and Hyundai Motor company and was recently featured in The Boston Globe and The New York Times.

The Opportunity:

Factorial Energy is seeking a Chief of Staff to join our team in our Woburn, MA location. This person will be responsible for collaborating with Factorial’s leadership team to identify, develop, and implement high-impact business process improvements. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as a major project owner or general manager capacity in a startup environment.

In this role, you will:

• Execute company’s critical and strategic missions on behalf of CEO’s office across multifunctional teams including but not limited to manufacturing, supply chain, facility expansion and etc.
• Lead critical initiatives such cost reduction for manufacturing and business operations etc.
• Collaborate with Factorial’s leadership team to identify, develop, and implement high-impact business process improvements.
• Support Factorial’s leadership team in developing reporting, communication, and operating modes to accelerate progress towards growth, development, and commercial targets
• Facilitate and cascade internal and external stakeholder communications regarding key decisions, information, and strategic directions
• Represent Factorial’s leadership team in external meetings as requested

We are looking for people with:

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience in a major project owner or general manager capacity in a startup environment required
• Prior entrepreneurial experience is required
• Experience working as general manager / founder in an agile environment highly required
• Prior experience in the manufacturing industry required
• Project management experience strongly preferred
• Cost conscious and resourceful, with an ownership mindset
• Experience in one or more of the follow industries preferred: cleantech, energy storage, material, chemical, biotech, food industries, electronics, semiconductor or other manufacturing related sector
