Summary:
The Chief of Staff will help enable communication, collaboration, strategy execution, and special projects across the CCO organization and have an immediate impact on the productivity of the Commercial Division by streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives to departments. The responsibilities include both directed work from the CCO, as well as leadership work that is self-directed and includes inputs and priorities from the CCO leadership team. The role requires a critical thinker who can solve business issues and has proven success in a business management role, with a special focus on executive-level advising and interdepartmental collaboration. 
What You'll Do: 
- Oversee strategic business initiatives, from development through successful execution, under the guidance of Chief Commercial Officer. Collaborate with leadership team members to determine and prioritize business strategies.Â
- Plan, coordinate and lead meetings and workshops and ensure meetings remain focused, effective, and efficient.Â
- Serve as first-line response for all inquiries into the CCO organization; handling inquiries, developing action plans, and assisting with preparation and dissemination of communications.Â
- Drive the rhythm of the business for the Commercial Division and ensure timely delivery of materials, including reports, metrics, and question resolution to support the corporate rhythm of the business.Â
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate Commercial Division Town HallsÂ
- Assist and communicate with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation; act as a sounding board to the CCO for new ideas and initiatives.Â
- Engage with other teams in the company, representing the commercial organization, forming relationships, helping find opportunities for collaboration and resolving blockers.Â
- Act as key financial and logistical liaison and/or resource between Commercial Division management to any combination of: business units, large departments, or work groups. Works with management team(s) to identify, develop and implement strategic plans to achieve goals. Implements actions for improvement and practical solutions as approved by management.Â
- Initiate and guide the CCO team OKR process according to schedule; track, and moderate OKRs for Commercial Division to ensure CCO Staff remain on track; facilitate reporting of OKRs to Corporate level Scorecard and related processes
- Within the CCO org, manage project/program plans, manage CCO org focused ERM risk and schedule commitments to ensure alignment with the overall business strategy and the most efficient execution.Â
- Build and maintain program/project documentation and dashboards that communicate a comprehensive status to teams and key stakeholders
- Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving difficult inquiries and requests from internal and external clients. Develops project plans and costs, including personnel and fiscal requirements to achieve defined objectives. Provides updates relative to project resources and fiscal plans
- Manage a team of 3-5 direct reports by ensuring priorities are clear for the team and work is distributed appropriately within the team. Maintain a culture of excellence through guidance, mentorship, and career development. Foster a collaborative team environment that celebrates team and individual wins. Provide leadership to direct reports and subordinates
- Supervisory responsibilities include leading continuous goal setting, career pathing and professional development, tracking competencies, employee team building and training, performance management, scheduling and assigning work, resource management and controlling expenses, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures. Proactively manages coaching, employee relations, and conflict while representing Torc’s core values.Â
- Identify hiring needs, partner with People Operations and Talent Acquisition, and assist in the recruiting, screening, interviewing, selection, hiring and new hire onboarding processes for talent across multidisciplinary teams.  Â
- Recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations.Â
What You Need to Succeed:
- Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Strategy, PMO or a similarly rigorous major and/or commensurate experienceÂ
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or similar experience is desiredÂ
- Demonstrates competences and technical proficiencies typically acquired through 7+ years of progressive professional experience such as management consulting or a similar fieldÂ
- 3+ years of management experienceÂ
- Experience using Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and related tools and success in driving OKR adoption and outcomes across a large teamÂ
- Presentation, meeting planning, and communication experience across various audiences (in-team, cross-team, executive, etc.)Â Â

Hiring Range for Job OpeningÂ
US Pay Range
$227,300—$272,800 USD
