Job Description
Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles with smart water machines. Thousands of companies use Bevi to sustainably provide their employees with pure, sparkling, and flavored water at work. As the market leader in IoT-enabled beverage machines, weβve raised over $160M in venture capital and we have grown tremendously each year since launch. In addition to maintaining hypergrowth with our current product line, Bevi is heavily investing in new product development.
Bevi is seeking a Chief of Staff to improve the focus and alignment of all departments within the company. The Chief of Staff will report directly to the CEO and will partner closely with the entire leadership team, contributing to business strategy and helping to set and drive KPIs. This role presents a rare opportunity to learn how a fast-paced start-up functions from the inside, understanding how all departments interact and finding ways for them to work together as seamlessly as possible. Itβs also a chance to apply analytical skills in a position that will have an outsized impact, as recommendations will move quickly from ideas to reality.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual and quarterly planning process around Objectives and Key Results. Maintain a standard cadence of reporting on OKRs.
- Prepare the agenda and materials for weekly leadership team meetings, monthly all-hands meetings, and quarterly Board meetings. Document decisions and follow through on next steps.
- Develop a deep understanding of how key results are calculated and how their various drivers work.
- Use rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis to identify and dig into problems and opportunities, and present holistic recommendations for the company.
- Take the lead on high-value, cross-functional projects, whether related to growth (e.g. international strategy), or other goals (e.g. carbon footprint analysis, M&A strategy).
- Contribute to the design and improvement of business processes.
- Build relationships with team members in all departments and at all levels of the organization, and develop an understanding of how changes in one part of the business affect the other parts.
- Attend certain internal meetings on behalf of the CEO, coordinating afterwards on any decisions that need to be made.
- Manage some elements of investor relations.

- Top-notch organizational and project management skills
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate and find ways to add value independently
- The ability to put together cohesive and compelling business cases, and a track record of getting cross-functional projects done through influence rather than through formal reporting authority
- Thoughtfulness and professionalism in the handling of confidential/sensitive information
Based in: Boston (2+ days per week in the office)
