Nymbl is searching for an outstanding Chief of Staff to accelerate our scaling by internally managing the executive team’s goals, priorities, operational tasks, and special strategic products. The Chief of Staff will consistently focus on work that is most important to the success of the business and is aligned with yearly and quarterly company goals. The Chief of Staff must be a jack-of-all-trades with a problem-solving mindset, and have the skillset to significantly contribute across all lines of business.
Fundamentally, the Chief of Staff will be responsible for:
Managing and ensuring the success of strategic initiatives across the business
Spearheading special projects
Overseeing and improving internal operations and program management related to priorities
Communicating with executives in decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation
A successful candidate will have extensive financial modeling experience, a background in investment banking or consulting, and ideally some startup experience. This person will report directly to the CEO.
This person must be located in Denver, CO and want to be in the office most days of the week.
WHO WE ARE
Nymbl’s mission is to mobilize older adults to age well. We started with a scientifically-validated digital balance training program that prevents 35% of injurious falls and is loved by older adults with an 81 NPS score. Now that we’ve demonstrated market-leading engagement and results, we are expanding into other areas of older adult health that will deliver life-changing outcomes to our users.
At Nymbl, you will work alongside a passionate team that values:
Putting older adults first
Winning when high performers collaborate
Holding ourselves to outcomes
Acting quickly with open minds
Inviting joy
You’ll have the opportunity to make an impact that will change the lives of older adults and their loved ones on a daily basis.
WHO YOU ARE
You are someone who believes in our core values, and can’t wait to join a team of others who feel the same way.
You run towards challenges.
You have a track record of top-notch performance in consulting, investment banking, or a related area. Ideally you’ve also experienced life in a startup.
You stay laser-focused on priorities, and know how to think strategically about them. You never lose the forest for the trees.
You are a jack of all trades that can learn anything quickly.
You understand the difference between collaboration and simply working together.
You thrive on numbers and data. You understand how to measure success, what’s important and what’s vanity. You hold yourself, and others, accountable to outcomes.
You gain energy from ideological conflict and tactfully offer fresh, unfiltered perspectives.
You’re an excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Drafting and working on high-stakes communications, like Board of Directors presentations and Investor Letters, excites you.
You have exceptional financial modeling skills. You know how to use macros and build Excel models without using a mouse.
You are excited by topics of organizational health, culture, and how best to recruit, onboard, and provide feedback to employees.
You can’t wait to be a critical team member in a fast-paced startup environment where learning and iterating happens daily, and where no single day is predictable.
You have an absolute commitment to openness and trust.
WHAT WE BRING
An opportunity to touch and save lives by preventing falls.
An environment where you can do your best work, supported by an inclusive and passionate team.
A fast-paced, mission-driven environment where you can grow quickly and broaden expertise by wearing multiple hats and supporting a rapidly expanding business.
