Click’s lead prescription program has entered a pivotal, fully remote, randomized, controlled trial on the Verily platform for the treatment of Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) in up to 360 adults. Click is progressing a broad pipeline of Digital Therapeutics™ across a variety of high-burden therapeutic areas, including MDD, Schizophrenia, Migraine, MS, Chronic Pain, Atopic Dermatitis, Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS), Obesity, Oncology and more.
About the Role:
The Chief of Staff is a high-visibility partner who supports the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effective decision-making, project management, and execution of strategic operational initiatives across the company. The Chief of Staff provides the communication framework for Click team members and external clients and partners to engage with the CEO and executive leadership. The Chief of Staff also focuses on long-term organizational projects to ensure the efficiency of the organization and the success of the CEO. You will work directly with the CEO to manage and drive key strategic and operational initiatives. This will involve leading high-priority cross-functional projects while ensuring alignment and accountability across the leadership team and organization. This will involve collaborating with executives to design and implement processes that will enable our business to scale effectively, and serving as a liaison between the CEO and various internal and external stakeholders.
This position is based out of Click’s headquarters in located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead the daily operations of the executive office
- Identify and execute on opportunities for organizational improvement
- Prepare quarterly Board materials and investor updates, as well as summary Board materials and takeaways designed for broader company-wide visibility.
- Lead cross-functional strategic operational initiatives and ensure action items are executed on behalf of the CEO
- Operate at both a strategic and tactical level, handling the oversight of projects that do not neatly fit within the organizational chart or that fall between departments or leadership areas of responsibility, including executing on both near- and long-term projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of executive leadership
- Acts as an extension of the CEO and information funnel, filter, and facilitator with internal and external stakeholders
- Triage all incoming requests for the executive’s time and work collaboratively with the CEO’s Executive Assistant to ensure their calendar is aligned with the priorities of the organization
- Proactively follow up with the CEO’s team if assigned activities or cross-functional operational projects are not being completed
- Promote executive and full team integration as well as cross-functional communication and collaboration
- Manage key relationships and build a process to track and nurture key stakeholders
- Track high priority initiatives for the CEO to identify any/potential obstacles
- Serve as a thought partner to the CEO, standing in on meetings, challenging ideas and offering a different perspective, and identifying and following up on action items
- Provide analysis, recommendations, and options to the CEO regarding high impact decisions and operational improvements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in consulting, investment banking, investing, and/or demonstrated success in operations, growth, or strategy role for a high-growth start-up
- A Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree is a plus
- Life Sciences / Biotech / Healthcare experience is required, and a passion for improving the healthcare ecosystem and alignment with the Click Therapeutics culture and mission is critical
