Chief of Staff

About the Job

As Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in enabling strategy, execution, collaboration, and communication across the Anthro. You will play a critical role in the strategic development and execution of projects and initiatives in close step with the CEO and leadership team. A curiosity to learn, and the ability to communicate across teams, and lead through influence is important as this role will carry out the vision and represent the CEO in the continued expansion of the business. This is the perfect role for ambitious, entrepreneurial individuals who desire to join the leadership team of a fast growing startup.

What you will do:

• Partner with the CEO and other key stakeholders to manage the business (e.g., support communications, align priorities, hire new roles, create board and investor decks)
• Help drive commercial and fundraising strategy, establishing milestones, KPIs, and documenting progress towards company goals
• Synthesize data from multiple sources (investors, customers, team members, etc.) to keep track of company priorities
• Perform extensive market research in the lithium ion battery landscape and provide input to key strategic decisions
• Build out pro-forma models and financial projections in collaboration with the CEO and leadership team
• Work in-person, on site at Anthro's lab in San Jose

Requirements

• 3+ years experience in top-tier strategy consulting, investment banking, or a BizOps/product role in a high-growth startup
• A good sounding board for others, with a low ego, and a desire to learn
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to distill and convey information in a compelling manner
• Detail-oriented organizational and process/project management skills
• Sharp business judgment, ability to see the "big picture" and prioritize amidst ambiguity
