The Opportunity:
We are hiring a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to help us navigate the next stage of growth!
In this impactful, strategic role, you will work closely with the CEO and executive team to create and implement the strategic direction of the company's long-term business model and revenue growth trajectory. You will be a natural leader, who will apply experience and understanding of HR Tech and Enterprise SaaS. You will help oversee the Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams at Turn. To be successful in this role, you must also be well-rounded with a strong financial background and experience in venture fundraising.
What you'll do:
  • You'll work directly with the CEO to build a multi-year strategic vision of the company that we can communicate to our team, investors, and the market
  • Collaborate with the CEO on quarterly reports for the board, monthly investor updates for shareholders, and pitch deck preparation for roadshows for equity and debt financings
  • You will work with team members to define, track, and report monthly, quarterly and annual objectives and metrics in an organized and digestible way to keep departments accountable to goals and key initiatives
  • You'll oversee Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Customer Success teams to run day-to-day operations and long term revenue growth
  • You'll help establish tone and procedures that promote company culture and vision
  • You will contribute to pricing/packaging models and expansion strategies. You'll contribute to a plan and make hard decisions necessary to improve key metrics such as Net Revenue Retention (NRR) and Cash Burn.

What You'll Need:
  • You have 5-10 years experience in the HR Tech space with venture backed startups (e.g. Fountain, Wonolo, Checkr, Workstream, Instawork, etc.) or established players (e.g. Workday, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Manpower, Randstad, etc.)
  • You have a proven history of operating at a SaaS company where you owned the entire top-line revenue number between $5 - $50M ARR
  • You have demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business functions like product development, operations, support, and sales with a knowledge of roadmaps, gantt charts, and other productivity frameworks
  • You have deep experience in capital raising from seed to Series C with growth capital or beyond being a plus
  • You have high emotional intelligence and self-awareness, and encourage positive energy and passion throughout the organization
  • You lead with confidence, integrity, and accountability and have the presence, passion, and energy to inspire others to be their best version of themselves
  • You are a highly motivated team player with a mature, positive attitude, and passion to meet the challenges and opportunities of a metrics-driven growth business
  • You thrive on building strong teams and company cultures; focus on the results, not long hours
  • More than 10 years of experience in a leadership role is a plus
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
