Job Summary
Rivia Mind is looking for a compassionate individual to assume a leadership role in operations, ensuring efficient workflows, reliability of service, and strategic expansion to new populations and partners. Supporting our mission and values to provide quality, reliable, and accessible services in a collaborative and diverse work culture. The role oversees key internal departments to establish clear procedures, effective communication channels, and operational efficiencies.
This candidate will lead the day-to-day administrative and operations of the business. Develop strategies and oversee the execution of plans to attain short- and long-term financial and mission-critical operational goals. Direct the development of the organization's functional capacity that will produce sustainable growth and minimize risk. The COO will provide internal leadership and direction. Participate in the development of operating budgets. Establishes effective operational policies and procedures.

50%: overseeing day-to-day operations to make sure all teams are functioning sufficiently
25%: enhancing processes with each team to gain greater efficiency
25%: collaborating with Co-CEOs to establish and implement budgets and strategy
Responsibilities
- Oversee key departments to support operational responsibilities, fiscal management, policies, and development of all departments (Patient Operations, Credentialing, Payer Relations, Clinical Operations, and Relationship Management) to ensure processes are comprehensive, communicated clearly, and performed to excellence
- Partner with the Chief People Officer to provide welcoming and safe working conditions, meet employee needs, ensure diversity and equity in the workplace, create career paths to retain top talent, and contribute to creating an appealing corporate culture
- Be an ambassador of Rivia Minds culture by role modeling our values and working with our mission at the forefront
- Facilitate collaborative weekly team meetings and 1:1’s with each direct report
- Focus on executing business objectives by evaluating the short and long-term impacts of patients, employees, and the company
- Thorough understanding of the customer value proposition and what it will take for operations to deliver on it in order to provide the best customer experience, and increase customer satisfaction
- Work closely with commercial operations in order to better predict customer demand
- Collaborate with top management teams on new and improved ways of working and communicate a holistic picture of the function to CEO’s
- Independently establish referral partners and implement processes to meet their needs
- Directs and establishes policies and procedures that ensure all remote and on-site activities comply with clinical practice standards and government regulations
- Ensures all behavioral health operations comply with clinical guidelines and regulations
- Provide comprehensive and current knowledge of behavioral health research and trends to provide up-to-date and effective practices
- Support the evolution of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to improve efficiency and enhance patient care
- Serve as an ex-officio member of the Compliance Committee and adhere to the Compliance Policy
- Implement data driven performance measures for the operation (considering efficiency versus effectiveness)
- Ensure development and maintenance of a business continuity plan
- Respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, & Codes of Conduct by evaluating and recommending investigations as appropriate
- Initiate and lead communications with regulatory agencies as appropriate
- Develop/maintain proficiency in regulatory planning strategy and submission of regulatory plans
- Develop corrective action plans for problematic issues or to address areas of compliance vulnerability
- Mitigate risks that would impact the business and its employees
- Perform other related role and team function duties as assigned by leadership
Qualifications
Required Education Level: Bachelors Degree required
Education Details: Masters Degree preferred
Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- Must have 15+ accumulative years in Healthcare Administration, Business Leadership, or Operations work experience amongst diverse roles
- At least 5+ years in Clinical Operations and Compliance Management
- Must be agile and responsive
- Mental Healthcare experience preferred
- Medical Payer Contracting and Clinical Credentialing experience preferred
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and guide a diverse remote first team
- Understand various healthcare industry subsets, services, clinical disciplines, and regulations
- Familiarity with state regulations, policies, and industry best practices.
- Healthcare Administration and Medical Terminology Knowledge
- Able to identify both beneficial and negative situations, processes, and project outcomes before they occur
- Proven demonstration of having a passion for evolving with technology and leveraging data-driven insights to make informed decisions

Compensation & Employment Details
Pay Range: Salary range - $200K- $275K
Pay Type: Salary
If Applicable - Bonus Terms: Up to 25%

Minimum Hours: 40

Work Environment: Remote with Travel
