CHILD CARE CENTER EDUCATION DIRECTOR

Well established Childcare Center is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic DIRECTOR for to help us grow our center to the next level. We are a leader in education-based child care since 1981. Our state-of-the-art center serve children from ages 6 weeks to 6 years old, offering full & part time care, before- and after-school care and summer camp programs. Benefits • Paid time off • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Flexible schedule • Professional Learning Development Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Oversee the day-to-day operations and maintain a center that meets or exceeds the company guidelines, licensing requirements, health regulations, and fire codes, and keep all permits and licenses current. • Conduct tours for prospective parents, enroll new families, and assist the management’s efforts to quickly ramp up and meet the academy’s enrollment goals. • Create and execute local marketing plan (both internal and external) necessary to drive new enrollments and maintain desired capacity. • Recruit, train and retain quality staff. Handle staff scheduling and other personnel-related matters. • Establish positive working relationships and communicate effectively with corporate office, staff, parents, children, state licensing authorities, vendors and other members of the community. • Manage the finances of the center effectively and within budgetary guidelines. Ensure all finance-related record keeping requirements are met. • Qualifications: • NYS Teaching Certification • Early Child Education Degree - Bachelor’s or Masters • Experience in Early Childhood education setting - 5+ yrs • Director or Assistant Director of Licensed Child Care Program - 2+ yrs • NAEYC and/or NAC accreditation experience plus • Exceptionally responsible, with excellent leadership and organizational skills • Strong customer service and communication skills • Ability to multi-task • Comfort with technology and technology tools for instruction and operations • Experience managing budgets and implementing marketing to drive improvement and growth • Daycare, Day care, Preschool, Child Care, ECEJob Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Childcare • Flexible schedule • Paid time off Schedule: • Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: • Brooklyn, NY: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Education Director: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: • Teacher Certification (Required) Work Location: In person
