Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ability to load arbors, prepare surface for plating by vapor blaster, and insert arbor for plating.
- Ensure quality and thickness of chrome, maintain chemical composition of chrome bath and operate shot peen machine
- Perform all required inspection checks on the rings
- Must be able to run to standard after training period
- Observe all safety policies
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math, read blueprints, and read applicable measuring devices
- Adherence to the Chrome Plate Job Instruction
- Any other duties as assigned
WORKING CONDITIONS/ PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing 100%
- Walking 30%-70%
- Lifting 100 lbs maximum with frequent lifting/carrying of up to 50 lbs
Work environment involves exposure to potentially hazardous materials, which will require the use of additional personal protective equipment.
