NVH is seeking a full-time CI Manager to support it's manufacturing facilities globally.

The CI Manager will report to the Executive Director Operations NVH

POSITION OVERVIEW

This position is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and functional expertise to NVH facilities on implementing a world class Continuous Improvement Program. This position will be responsible for development, deployment, and coaching plant CI Managers for various CI systems and programs across the Americas region. This position will be responsible for leading and developing the regional systems such as Loss Analysis or Visual Factory and deliver big scale savings. Will be working with the America's Regional CI Directors.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Execute the Operations Journey to Excellence in Continuous Improvement Masterplan in the deployment and execution of lean maturity through Tenneco's P3 system.
    • Lead and support Plant assessments, audits, and training
    • Connect Plant Leaders to CI methodology and progress
  • As a system owner, develop, deploy and own standards and training materials for Lean, Six Sigma and KT Systems across the Americas
    • Provide coaching to sites and Americas CI Managers
    • Participate on Americas CI standards team, providing general input
    • Support audits and assessments (TPM, HPO, etc) across the Americas
  • Lead Loss Analysis and savings projects
    • Provide support for Organizational Capability and Effectiveness
    • Lead elements of the Analytics work stream

Required Experience

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field
  • 1 to 5 years of relevant experience and progressing leadership roles within Supply Chain and Manufacturing.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results using advanced TPM tools, analytical decision making, building strong relationships, and direction setting.
  • Ability to connect functional and business objectives to Continuous Improvement, including leading exercises such as Process Mapping Able to merge business questions/needs with available data to provide data-driven insights.
  • Provides coaching on leading a culture change within Plants in Americas region to build people capability to eliminate losses.
  • Strong communication and diplomacy skills, from plant technicians through plant/regional leaders
  • Ability to lead and coach/develop others in setting direction, strategy and executing problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Lean, Six Sigma, KT methodologies.
  • Experience of working in a High-Performance CI Organization
  • Ability to lead cross functional and regional initiatives
  • Frequent US and Mexico travel, and occasional international travel.
