Team: Sales
Hong Kong is one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial hubs in the world, and we're looking for an exceptional leader to build Flex's presence from the ground up. This is not a satellite office role. You will be the face of Flex in Greater China and a foundational hire for our Asia expansion.
What You'll Do
- Own full P&L responsibility for the Hong Kong market, from first customer to scaled portfolio
- Acquire and grow a book of middle-market business owners generating $5M to $500M+ in annual revenue across e-commerce, trade, logistics, real estate, and professional services
- Build a local referral and partnership ecosystem spanning accountants, wealth advisors, legal firms, trade associations, and industry groups
- Organize and host exclusive events, dinners, and roundtables that position Flex as the go-to platform for ambitious business owners in Hong Kong
- Become the most connected person in Hong Kong's entrepreneurial community by attending industry gatherings and building genuine relationships with founders and operators
- Work directly with the CEO and executive team to shape Flex's Asia strategy and adapt the GTM playbook for the region
- Provide real-time market intelligence on competitive dynamics, regulatory landscape, and customer needs
- Hire and develop a small local team as the market scales
- Inform product roadmap decisions for international and cross-border features based on what you hear from customers daily
Who You Are
- 7+ years in B2B sales, business development, or relationship management in banking targeting SMBs or middle-market companies, ideally in financial services, fintech, or banking
- Deep roots in Hong Kong's business community with genuine, existing relationships with founders, operators, and the advisors who serve them
- Proven track record of acquiring and retaining high-value business customers
- A natural event organizer and community builder who knows how to fill a room with the right people
- The person who gets invited to every important dinner, every industry panel, every founder gathering in Hong Kong
- Comfortable operating with high autonomy in a fast-moving startup environment
- Fluent in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is a strong plus)
- Intuitive understanding of cross-border commerce, USD banking needs, and the financial complexity middle-market business owners face across Asia
- Familiarity with stablecoins, crypto payments, and digital asset infrastructure is a strong plus
