Job Summary

AEI is looking for a Full-Time Engineer in Training. This position is for graduate engineers with at least 2 years of experience in the work force. Under close and frequent supervision, incumbent assists Engineers by performing the routine aspects of civil engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company.

Responsibilities 

As a Civil Engineer Team Member with AEI, you will benefit from hands-on experience, mentorship opportunities, and developmental programs geared towards growing AEI's next generation of leaders. You will gain exposure to client interactions and project financials. As a team member, you will solve complex, real-world problems while assisting project managers and collaborating with team members and partners to produce our clients' visions for the future built environment.

Qualifications 

• BS Degree in Civil Engineering. EIT is encouraged.
• 2+ years of relevant design experience
• Positive attitude and an impressive work ethic
• Clear sense of urgency and self-initiative to meet deadlines
• Ability to contribute to a positive work environment
• Passion and demonstrated drive to achieve goals both personally and professionally
• Experience in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, or Open Roads
