About the Role
We’re looking for a Claims Subrogation Representative who’s passionate about helping Outdoorsy mature in the subrogation and recovery process. As a Subrogation Representative at Outdoorsy you will demonstrate both technical proficiency along with the aptitude to handle subrogation input and output, help drive and implement processes, and maintain a high level of quality and pride in your work. Your work at Outdoorsy:
- Interpret policy and identify how coverage applies to a particular loss
- Accurately update and index files to include all key subrogation activities and documentation
- Investigate, evaluate, and negotiate incoming demands to reach a fair and equitable settlement for involved parties
- Confidently create, file, and follow up on outgoing subrogation demands
- Provide special attention to financial integrity and reporting
- Evaluate and prioritize work based on metrics and historical data
What you will bring to the table:
- 2-5 years subrogation experience, preferably in an auto environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage relationships with both internal and external customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-managed, highly motivated, and confident
- Able to work well under deadlines in a high-paced, changing environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective team player
- Detail oriented
- Proficient in basic computer skills
- Experience with a P2P or Marketplace environment is a plus
