Job Description
We are excited to post an opening for a Trainer I position within Claims Training. This will be a remote position, is an addition to our current trainer roles, and will report to Claims Training Manager.
Role descriptions:
- Conducts new employee and ongoing training with subject-matter expertise in multiple functional areas
- Conducts courses to provide ongoing learning and development for front-line staff
- Completes updates to training material and knowledge management resources with guidance from a colleague or leader
- Observes and documents classroom behaviors and learner progress to provide feedback to front-line leaders
Preferred candidates will possess:
- Distinctive claim handling, desk management and documentation skills
- Approximately 3 years or more experience handling claims
- Strong communication and writing skills, careful attention to details
- Solid understanding of auto coverage principles in PD, BI, PIP/Med Pay, Subrogation, Litigation
- Strong command of negotiation skills, liability analysis, and mechanism of injury associated with auto claims
- Highly adaptive and flexible in multiple situations
- Engaging and encouraging coach/mentor mindset
- Confident and professional presentation skills
