Class A CDL Truck Driver

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team, at our Tacoma, Dupont and Redmond locations. This is a night position, start times vary but generally the start times are 8:00 - 9:30 PM. Run times vary but are usually between 8 and 10 hours. The ideal candidate will have experience pulling doubles. This role is essential for ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. Duties • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations. • Plan routes effectively to optimize delivery schedules while considering traffic patterns and road conditions. • Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during transport. • Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations as well as company policies. Skills • Proven experience as a truck driver with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL). • Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is preferred. • Strong route driving skills with an understanding of logistics and delivery processes. • Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries. • Good communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and clients. • Attention to detail for maintaining accurate records and ensuring safety compliance.
