Class C Straight Truck Driver

Forward Logistics is an intrastate and interstate motor carrier specializing in Loose Cargo Load (LCL), Full Container Load (FCL), Full Trailer Load (FTL), oversized cargo, and special project cargo delivery. In human words, we move cargo from point A to point B on the road with a truck. ARE YOU ONE OF US? This position has overall responsibility for delivering shipment with commercial vehicles. Requirements: • Operate vehicle or equipment (straight trucks, sprinters) following federal and state regulations, as well as company protocols and guidelines. • Pick up and deliver cargo from one location to another following dispatch routes and time schedule. • Handle shipment with care and report any abnormality to Operations Team. • Provide professional and friendly customer engagement and communication. • Perform regular equipment inspection and complete inspection report as instructed. • Complete other checklist or reports as instructed. • Participate in periodic regulatory training or testing as instructed. Qualifications: • At least 2 years of commercial pick up and delivery experience with airline/CFS. • Clean driving record w/ no accidents or violations in the past 2 years. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions/manuals. • Ability to understand and carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. • Ability to write clear correspondenance. • Ability to speak effectively before customers, vendors, or company employees. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. • Current valid drivers license with clear record. • Forklift operator training may be required in certain locations. • Must be able to lift 50 pounds. • High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination or education and work experience.
