Job Description

The intern will work in Tenneco's Human Resources department and be involved in several ongoing HR functions and initiatives: recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, HR data analysis and training coordination. The HR Intern will attend and participate in all HR staff meetings and "shadow" HR professionals in their meetings with managers and staff.

• Screen and interview candidates for positions within the various business groups.
• Schedule phone and office interviews; conduct phone interviews as required.
• Assist with the new hire onboarding process.
• Conduct internet research and reporting on workplace topics.
• Perform ad-hoc troubleshooting and administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist with new hire orientations and file new hire paperwork.
• Enhance and promote engagement ideas and events

Required Experience

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or Human Resources. Sophomore level or higher preferred
