LOCATION

IFG Companies is hiring in Arizona, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, New Jersey, North Carolina and on a case-by-case basis in New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas and Virginia . Applicants must reside in one of these states to be hired . Remote and flexible work arrangements are provided to all employees based on manager approval.

SALARY RANGE

The expected salary range is $40,000 to $50,000 and subject to change at any time at the discretion of the Company.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process incoming submissions for different lines of business (General Liability, Excess Casualty, Inland Marine and Primary Property)

Maintain the integrity of the electronic file records.

• Process form letter notifications.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE / CERTIFICATIONS

• High school degree or equivalent.

• Personal and/or Commercial Insurance experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to read an Accord Application and identify various lines of business (i.e. General Liability, Primary Property, Excess Casualty, Inland Marine, etc.)

• Determining appropriate ISO classes, exposures and additional UW criteria

• Excellent interpersonal skills.

• Good oral/written communication skills.

• Strong organizational and reasoning skills.

• Excellent time management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume work environment.

• Ability to make decisions independently.

• Strong word processing computer skills with demonstrated high accuracy output.

• Other: Occasional overtime required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Physical demands are considered to be that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. This position requires prolonged sitting, ability to utilize a computer and interactions with others meetings or via phone.
