Summary

First Horizon Bank Commercial Safekeeping is a leading provider of investment custody services for domestic financial institutions. We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee our Client Services Representative for our Operations Team.

Days: Monday-Friday

Time: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Responsible for managing and administering customers investment activity and transactions while supporting their overall relationship with First Horizon Bank
  • Supervises assigned personnel
  • Ensures detailed procedures and job descriptions are written, updated, implemented, and observed by assigned personnel
  • Business Continuity Administrator
  • Demonstrates good work habits and maintains a professional attitude
  • Coordinates and oversees the daily workflow
  • Establishes priorities and schedules all daily work functions to meet required deadlines and quality controls for product accuracy and timeliness
  • Takes a proactive approach in addressing departmental changes and personnel needs, while continuing to improve the quality and efficiency of the department
  • Backup to Recon Desk and Trade Desks
  • Prepares monthly and quarterly billing for Safekeeping Clients
  • Responsible for Escheatment of outstanding checks
  • Performs Bloomberg Downloads for conversions including Asset setup and updated factors on assets
  • BONY Administrator; Performs STS, BONY and DTC user Audits
  • Primary DR Tester for STS, Trustwizard, and AMTrust enhancements

Qualifications Include

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business related discipline and/or

    equivalent work experience in a securities or financial institutions environment

  • 3+ years experience in security operations/client administration is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
  • Able to work independently and willing to help other team members as needs may arise
  • Must be very organized, detail oriented, and take pride in producing error free work
  • Able to handle large volumes and dollars with confidence and a can-do spirit
  • Must be comfortable on the computer using Microsoft Office, Bloomberg and our client accounting system, AMTrust
