Client and Markets Insight, Associate (Remote Eligible) Summary:
The Complex Client Center of Excellence is a centralized team that supports research needs and regularly support business objectives aligned with Integrated Marketing and Communications (IMC), national industry, and line-of-business strategies. The associate will work under supervision of the manager in support of stakeholders across RSM to advance the growth of complex client and prospect relationships within five key areas:
- Data quality
- Research and targeting
- Sales and marketing
- Analyzing and reporting
- Leadership and growth
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Provide project support and analytical assistance to manager for myriad projects on an "as identified" basis to identify, size, and evaluate marketplace and current client base opportunities.
- Support regular production of Client Priority, Market assessment and Insights development reports developed by and directed by the Complex Client COE. Build profiles and reports that drive insights to stakeholders at agreed upon milestones to assist with program optimization and evaluation.
- Deliver Enterprise Pitchbook Profiles - Influence the advancement of the function by speaking on behalf of the IMC stakeholder needs for reporting access, automation, and education and build out multi-source research reports that advance the ease of stakeholder understanding.
- Support PE growth by serving as a resource for pursuit and proposal activities submitted by manager, ad hoc and
- Workfront requests from IMC employees and External Client Servers. Serve as back-up to PE Business Development associate.
- Preserve the integrity of private equity data through market research, maintenance, and end-to-end validation across several systems.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Required)
TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS
Required:
- Expertise with Data Analysis and Data Quality (CRM, Finance systems, Marketing Systems)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, Power Point)
Preferred:
- Experience with CRM analysis, especially Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM
- Experience with SharePoint
- Experience with 3rd party data sources such as Pitchbook, D&B or similar
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 1-2 years minimum of related experience (i.e., profiling businesses and investors, working in a data-driven marketing team, corporate research department, or a client or customer insights team with a marketing research supplier in a client facing role).
Preferred:
- Solid understanding of B2B marketing research tools, techniques, and applications (both secondary/syndicated and primary marketing research capabilities and analytics).
- Familiarity with client/customer relationship management (CRM) tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with database tools, applications, and datasets (e.g., Dun and Bradstreet) to drive marketplace and client segment profiling; opportunity identification and prioritization; and client value analyses (e.g., market structure analyses, decile analyses).
