At1st Meridian Care Services, we believe outstanding care starts with an outstanding team. As ourClient Care & Scheduling Supervisor, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients and caregivers are supported, heard, and cared for—beyond just the Plan of Care.
You will coordinate client services, lead caregiver scheduling, and help ensure our care delivery exceeds expectations. If you’re highly organized, proactive, and passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, this is your opportunity to grow with a purpose-driven team.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage referrals, conduct non-medical in-home client assessments, and create individualized Plans of Care
• Supervise and support a team of non-medical caregivers to ensure quality and compliance
• Match caregivers to clients based on needs, personality, and availability
• Maintain caregiver schedules and handle urgent changes or call-offs professionally
• Communicate with families, caregivers, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care
• Participate in the after-hours on-call rotation (typically 1 weekend/month)
• Review caregiver timecards and assist with payroll prep
• Lead or assist with onboarding new caregivers and contribute to hiring and retention efforts
• Address concerns from clients and families, escalating when necessary
• Track satisfaction surveys, client documentation, and ensure regulatory compliance
• Contribute to team meetings, trainings, and quality assurance activities

What You Bring
• 1+ year of supervisory experience in home care or senior care required
• Scheduling experience using platforms like WellSky/ClearCare, HHAeXchange, or similar
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
• Familiarity with California’s Home Care licensure regulations
• High emotional intelligence and calm under pressure
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and clean background
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other scheduling software
• Willingness to work on-site in San Diego and rotate on-call coverage
