SUMMARY
Responsible for all aspects of assigned technical projects. Projects will be focused on API and Event Notification Implementation and strategic planning. Plans and coordinates all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through delivery.
LOCATION
Hybrid work from either our Jacksonville, FL or Atlanta, GA office is required with flexibility to work remote up to 2 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manages technical project initiation through delivery which includes identifying contractual obligations, client needs and goals, existing situation, necessary contacts, and access to existing information as needed
- Develops, defines and executes project plans, project scope, activities, schedules, budgets and deliverables
- Identifies needed resources for projects; defines and assigns major project roles
- Assigns and monitors the work of project team, providing technical and analytical support and direction
- Manages project risks, issues/problems, and activity progress to ensure project goals (e.g., deadline, scope and quality) are achieved
- Assists with problem resolution or risk mitigation as needed
- Delivers informational and decision-seeking presentations to technical and business groups in Black Knight and/or in client organizations
- Conducts project closure activities to formalize and communicate the project acceptance, handover documentation and ongoing activities to accountable teams, and completes a post-implementation review to identify areas of improvement
- Identifies project management coordination process gaps or areas for improvement and recommends and implements solutions
- Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
- Requires 8+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of various types of IT project methodologies and life cycles
- Advanced skill in the use of project management software to manage projects
- Demonstrated skill in managing project budgets, forecasting, and creating timelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Project Management Certifications (PMP, CSM, ACP, CPM, etc.)
- Mortgage industry experience
- Experience with Black Knight products, services, and capabilities
- Skill in the use of negotiation techniques, conflict management, time management and problem solving
- Experience with APIs, Event Notification, or MWS implementation
