We’re looking for a Client Director with the passion and experienceYou will partner with Designit, with our parent company, Wipro, and externally with clients.

Our new Client Director is responsible for end-to-end consultative growth and delivery excellence. You will be expected to be directly client-facing with senior stakeholders and involved in the strategic direction and quality control of client delivery, while proactively identifying organic growth and new business opportunities. You’ll be a sought for strategic thinking, effective leadership, and collaboration with internal teams and stakeholders.

You will work on the Client Services team, under an Executive Client Director.

  • Lead with an end-to-end strategic and consultative mindset, able to advise and guide clients towards healthy decisions for their business and end users
  • Identify and generate new business and organic growth opportunities with the goal of growing revenue
  • Part of the cross-discipline leadership team, driving One Designit and trusted collaboration between all teams
  • Be an active leader in high priority new business and existing work
  • Understand and effectively communicate the value of end-to-end design and creative services (i.e., experience design, service design, marketing, branding, social, etc.)
  • Build and lead top talent across the Client Services team
  • Improve utilization and profitability of the Client Services team
  • Create strategic account plans in conjunction with Wipro
  • Create business development strategy in conjunction with Wipro

We would like you to have...

  • 10+ years of experience in client relationship management or account management in a design, creative, or digital agency environment
  • 5+ years of proven track record of managing and growing client relationships, and delivering successful projects on-time and on-budget
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Design, a related field or equivalent project/portfolio experience
  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to understand and align design solutions with client objective and needs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience in managing and mentoring teams, and providing proactive feedback and coaching to team members
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment with an entrepreneur mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and outside of the box
  • Financial awareness, understand high-level PnL and GM fundamentals
  • Ability to track progress against KPIs (e.g., revenue, client satisfaction, margin)
  • Experience working on end-to-end, cross-disciplinary proposals, RFPs, and sales pitches
  • Ability to travel 15-25%, may be more depending on the account

Portfolio Focus: Americas 1

Healthcare & Medical Devices, Consumer Goods & Lifesciences, Retail, Transportation & Services, Comm, Media & Info services, Tech Products & Platforms and LATAM.

Compensation Range: $124,000 - $176,000

This compensation range is indicative of the role. Compensation offered is on the basis of evaluation during interview process, the candidates range and depth of experience, business and market financials and internal pay parity. This role comes with a variable pay component based on performance.
