Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for managing a set of accounts within an assigned NetApp accounts segment and owning and nurturing the business relationship for NetApp's best-in-class hybrid cloud data and data management products.
You will be responsible for driving Net-new opportunities while expanding NetApp's footprint within your accounts. As an account lead, you will be responsible for understanding the market pressures your customers are facing and mapping NetApp's technology to help solve some of their most complex data problems. You will serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and use business acumen and technical expertise to influence customer decisions. You will also champion the account strategy and define NetApp's technology direction/vision within the account.
Responsibilities:
- Build and deepen executive relationships with the customers. Influence long-term strategic direction and serve as a business partner
- Lead and manage the entire cycle, often presenting to C-level executives in the assigned customers
- Create relationships within the accounts and develop an understanding of each customer's technology footprints, strategic growth plans, business drivers, technology strategy, and competitive landscape
- Drive business development, forecast accurately, and achieve strategic goals by leading customers through the entire business cycle

- Flexibility. Not every sales campaign goes to plan, you will be able to read deal situations and adjust accordingly without missing a beat
- Data-Driven - you can have a "back of the napkin" conversation, then go home and build a spreadsheet that brings understanding to any person doubting your strategy and decisions

Job Requirements:
- Superb relationship building skills and ability to demonstrate value to clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a solution-oriented mindset
- Experience selling technology to target accounts
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions
- Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions solve business problems
- Ability to convey information clearly and provide analysis as needed to help the customer make buying decisions
Education:
- Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience and a Bachelor's degree, or relevant experience
