Client Executive Sales Rep (Remote)

Since 1989, the National Healthcareer Associationยฎ (NHA) has awarded more than 1,000,000 allied health certification and credentials. In addition, NHA is expanding product offerings to include Training Solutions in the healthcare space. Reporting to a Sales Team Lead, we are searching for Client Executive Sales Rep in our NHA business unit. The Sales Representative will be responsible for using consultative and value-based sales techniques to understand prospects' business needs and recommend our product solutions to potential clients. Additionally, this position is responsible for cold-calling, prospecting and obtaining new business while growing and managing existing clients. NHA's B2B prospects are comprised of educational institutions and health systems throughout the United States. Conducting effective, efficient, and professional telephone, email, webinar and social media communications to achieve performance metrics is essential and required.

- A minimum of 3+ years of recent successful sales experience with a proven track record of overachieving annual quota. Proactively identifying opportunities, creating a sales plan, effectively prioritizing time, and executing on a consultative sales strategy to drive results and consistently achieve quarterly and annual quotas.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Marketing or a related field.
- Understanding of health care or education industry considered a plus.
- Ability to travel to client locations, corporate training, and tradeshows about 10-25% of the time.
- Advanced experience using CRM to manage territory.
- Previous experience, efficiency, and comfort level working remotely.
- Bonus: Previous exposure to the Miller Heiman sales methodology
Skills and Abilities:
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan using effective research methods and individual account tactics to effectively penetrate and identify additional sales opportunities with ultimate decision makers.
- Ability to exceed sales quotas by creating and communicating the value of certification, credentialing and training with prospects and existing clients.
- Current proficiency presenting to small and large group audiences either in-person, via conference call, and/or in web enabled environments using PowerPoint and other technologies. Proficiency is defined as being a clear, concise, error-free, yet persuasive spoken and written communicator.
- Ability to ask the best questions to identify client needs and provide current product solutions by communicating the value of NHA products over the competition with active and empathy focused listening.
- Able to obtain agreement from multiple decision makers throughout all stages of the sales cycle and asking for commitment to confirm a sale through high trust and efficient rapport building
- Ability to successfully collaborate and communicate with team members to ensure strong, positive, and profitable client relations by way of continual support throughout and beyond the sales process.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism with colleagues and clients daily.
- Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity, problem solving skills and constant pursuit of knowledge with a willingness to be coached.
- Ability to offer solutions in a productive and professional manner to both clients and team members.
- High level of follow-up both internally within the organization and externally with customers.
- Ability to be self-motivated and driven with attention to detail.
- Proficiency utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, WebEx, and similar remote conferencing platforms.
This position requires that the employee be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, unless an exemption has been granted by Ascend Learning for a religious, health-related or other legally mandated reason, which will be considered on a case-by-case basis in accordance with applicable law. Ascend will accept all COVID-19 vaccines that have been approved or authorized for Emergency Use Authorization by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or COVID-19 vaccines recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO).
Individuals are considered "fully vaccinated" (1) two weeks after their second dose in a 2-dose series (such as Pfizer or Moderna vaccines); or (2) two weeks after a single-dose vaccine (such as Johnson & Johnson's Janssen vaccine). Ascend Learning's current policy also requires that individuals visiting our offices be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
