The Client Manager is responsible for a blend of internal delivery activities and client facing functions utilizing the colleague's developed skills, working independently on Commercial Property and Casualty Insurance accounts. Colleagues in this role will support internal clients and assigned external clients in collaboration with senior colleagues. Colleagues in this role will work independently and be responsible for direct completion of tasks such as including creation of allocations and independent contract reviews, followed by implementation of necessary actions with clients/carriers. Upon development of skills, colleague may serve as a mentor or Subject Matter Expert. This role offers a hybrid working opportunity.

The Role
- Maintenance of accurate policy detail in Management System
- Support for the invoicing process, including review for compliance and coordination of Surplus Lines documentation
- Attaching information in records management system
- Participation in internal pre-renewal strategy meetings; review and management of expiration list
- Upon receipt of binder, creating confirmation of coverage or evidence of coverage to deliver with binders to client
- Overseeing the client billing process, including timely and accurate delivery of invoices
- Resolving client level accounting issues including discrepancies and fee agreements
- Managing the certificate renewal process with clients to determine requirements, coordinating with certificate center to ensure timely and accurate issuance
- Second pair of eyes review on policy checked by policy services team, including request carrier revisions as needed and delivery to client within 30 days of receipt
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of endorsement and audit requests
- Responding to mid-term client inquiries (i.e., policy and coverage questions) in partnership with other Service and Broking colleagues
- Completing contract reviews as applicable
- Maintaining and managing open items listings with clients and team
- Delivery of client reports, e.g., Accounts Receivable for Allocations, Open Claims, etc.
- Additional accountabilities include but are not limited to:
- Support and utilization of internal and client-facing technology, operational processes and data integrity
- Retention of existing book of business and driving client relationships
- Support for new business opportunities; assuming new clients as applicable, and contributing toward revenue growth
- Following Global Excellence Model principles
- Other duties as identified and appropriate
Qualifications
The Requirements:
- 3-5 years of commercial Property & Casualty experience in a client facing role is required
- Must successfully complete appropriate licensing exam(s) and/or maintain required licensing by completing various continuing education activities as needed
- The ability to review and understand coverage questions with support as needed
- An understanding of insurance terminology, the general functions of an insurance broker and the various lines of business insurance
- The ability to work independently
- Identifying and applying a solutions-oriented approach
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and the proven ability to learn and utilize new technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Project management skills including attention to detail; organizational skills, the ability to prioritize, and time management skills
- Problem solving abilities, including critical thinking and adaptability
- The ability to apply judgement in the daily routine
- Aptitude for client relationship management and a strong customer focus
- Collaborative approach to working with internal clients
- Professional composure and the ability to manage change, including a tolerance for ambiguity
