About This Role - Client Onboarding Analyst

We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Client Onboarding Analyst who will collaborate closely with all members of the Onboarding team in New York and globally as we expand. The candidate will be instrumental in helping to streamline our existing workflow as it relates to client onboarding, KYC refreshes and other initiatives related to the client onboarding procedures across the Genesis entities.

Responsibilities

• Review applications in an efficient and client-centric manner during the client onboarding process and ensure that the KYC/AML due diligence and documentation requirements are compiled per internal policies and procedures.
• Communicate with prospect clients and answer and resolve any issues during the KYC review process.
• Assist in the KYC Refresh review process for clients within reasonable timelines
• Identify and escalate red flags at client onboarding/periodic reviews stage in a timely manner.
• Complete due diligence questionnaires and outbound client KYC requests on Genesis entities.
• Support global AML and Onboarding initiatives.
• Conduct general administration and ancillary activities related to the above functions as required by the company.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with all internal and external stakeholders across APAC, UK, and US teams.
• Stay current with regulatory changes and requirements around AML and KYC obligations

Requirements

• 2-5 years of KYC and Onboarding experience within a financial services or digital assets/crypto currency
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience using compliance applications and investigative tools such as CLEAR, World Check, or LexisNexis.

• Familiar with KYC/AML regulations related to client due diligence on high-net-worth individuals and institutional clients.
