Zennify is looking for a qualified candidate to join our team as a Client Partner! This individual will play an integral role in growing the footprint of our existing customer base while maintaining a focus on overall customer and channel partner satisfaction. This is a dynamic role seeking highly organized and self-motivated leaders who build strong followership across all constituencies. 

The Client Partner is the primary point of responsibility for all clients in their book of business at the account level. This role requires exceptional relationship management abilities across both clients and the internal team, experienced salesmanship and a strong business acumen. It’s expected you have experience in the Salesforce ecosystem or other technologies Zennify supports and have a proven track record in account management and existing business sales.

You are responsible for  deepening existing relationships and creating new relationships across the customer organization and within our channels in order to identify new opportunities and ensure continuous revenue within our existing base. You help bridge the sales organization with Delivery, Operations and Marketing to improve the overall customer and team experience. You partner with delivery to foster a healthy team culture on your clients.. You protect our flank through high level oversight on existing work, while setting in motion strategies to de-risk the inevitable client org changes and economic headwinds that can upset our revenue streams.. As a consultant, you frame a story of business value which connects what we deliver to specific client goals/vision and maps directly to key measurables/business impact that resonate with decision makers. In the day to day, you are outcome driven, demonstrate superior follow-up, have excellent verbal and written communication. You can lead the art and science of an enterprise deal cycle and pull the right people together to get it over the line.. You are trusted to do what you say you will do and naturally anticipate the needs of your clients, team and Zennify stakeholders. 

Primary Job KPI: Bookings (quota based)

Primary Responsibilities


  • Become the trusted advisor to customer stakeholders and executive sponsors and deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals 
  • Lead and manage all phases of the sales cycle from new business identification, roadmapping, scoping,  CRM hygiene,  proposals and SOW creation (with support from either sales solutions and delivery team). Negotiate contracts and  close agreements
  • Lead client QBRs, proactively inserting yourself to support client’s fiscal year planning and roadmapping sessions
  • Lead internal QBRs and roadmapping sessions with delivery team team
  • Lead account planning activities and documentation on cadence with Zennify quarterly, fiscal year planning and Salesforce SKO
  • Pull from SMEs and help frame expertise on the Salesforce Platform + other channel partners to roadmap and help evangelize solutions that will enable customers reach and enhance their business goals and outcomes. 
  • Channel Management
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Marketing Support - customer stories, conference engagement and referrals
  • Account Escalation management - quarterback account-level escalations. Lead the resolution with the client, channel, internal team and own Zennify executive comms. 
  • Foster trusted relationship with delivery team leads in all competencies. Support SteerCo, Tollgates, Kickoff and key meetings. Very close partnership with PM. Partners with PM on kickoff, ensuring we have all of the critical meetings, team RACI, project artifacts and milestones in place.  
  • Work with the customer and delivery to identify customer objectives and KPIs
  • Can read the room, identify issues or opportunities, and can pull the right team together to solve at everly level of internal and client leadership without coaching or direction
  • Collaborate with the Project Manager to clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external project and support teams, and ensure alignment with overall roadmap

What to Expect

Our customers range from small and mid-sized companies to multinational enterprise corporations. This role will have an emphasis on our Financial Services customer base, but will span across all industries within our portfolio. 

As a Client Partner, you will be provided with a list of named accounts and you will be assigned new accounts as needed to meet both quota and revenue under management expectations.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as Sr Customer Success Director/ Account Director, Client Partner, or other senior level account management function
  • 5+ years of selling or supporting Sales teams (preferably offering Salesforce solutions)
  • High emotional intelligence and great sense of humor
  • No one enjoys it, but you are an effective owner of conflict resolution
  • Solid understanding of the customer’s point of view 
  • Strong track record of building customer rapport and fostering a trusted advisor relationship with existing customers 
  • Keen sense of identifying business opportunities within an assigned customer base
  • Ability to collaborate with Zennify and partner delivery teams across multiple customers concurrently
  • Ability to communicate, present to and influence key stakeholders at all levels of a customer’s organization, including executives and C-levels 
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities 
  • Extremely high attention to detail without getting in the weeds of the project - you can sense where the problem is, dive in, and get out fast
  • While the team is responsible for discovery, you are also capable of leading discovery sessions and understanding customer needs. If we aren’t getting to the heart of the matter, you dive in. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Is comfortable with the overuse of GIFs on Slack (no, seriously, we send a lot of GIFs).
  • Very good sense of humor

  • Strong aptitude for prioritization and multitasking in a deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to lead with clarity and enthusiasm in a nuanced and ambiguous environment
  • Possess a sense of urgency with strong organizational and follow-up skills 
  • Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
