Position
We are seeking a Director to join Pretium’s Client Relations team. This position will be responsible for integrating and managing client account data across Pretium’s growing suite of products. The role will lead technology and process improvements internally to ensure a unified approach to business development and client service initiatives. The role also involves coordinating and collaborating with multiple teams and departments while interacting across multiple levels of the Firm. This position will report to the Head of Client Relations and is based in Pretium’s New York City Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the integration (and ongoing management) of client account data with the firm CRM (Salesforce)
- Develop and implement a plan to manage client reporting and mass communications
- Work with Technology and Finance to implement and manage an Investor Portal
- Contribute to capital raising activities across various firm products by gathering, analyzing, and disseminating sales analytics and business intelligence
- Define Business Development sales activity reporting and client segmentation goals while collaborating with key investor segment teams
- Develop standard metrics to assess the performance of Relationship Managers against their goals
- Articulately communicate with key stakeholders in a knowledgeable, clear, and professional fashion
- Collaborate internally across multiple internal groups to identify and execute on key initiatives
Requirements

Direct and insightful in approach, this candidate possesses the interpersonal skills to quickly gain the respect and support from relationship managers, client relations, and finance / operations teams.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred
- ~8 years working in a sales strategy, analytics, distribution, and/or research capacity within asset management, real estate, credit, or alternative investments preferred
- Deep experience of CRM tools (particularly Salesforce) and client account management
- Experience of working cross functionally both internally and externally
- Personal and professional integrity to the highest order
- Experience analyzing and manipulating data sets and complex reports
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of external databases (e.g., Preqin, Pitchbook, eVestment)
- Proficient with data visualization (e.g., Power BI) and reporting tools
- Proven track record of success working in and influencing a fast-paced, fast-growing organization
- Highly motivated, disciplined, and results oriented with an ability to execute projects
- High level of initiative and motivation to achieve goals
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to clearly and concisely communicate effectively across a wide variety of stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, set priorities, multitask, and adhere to stringent deadlines with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Team player who demonstrates a commitment to shared success
