Job Summary

The Global Business Development Organization is seeking an Analyst for our Client Response Center. The Analyst will be part of the team that directly produces and oversees servicing documents and other materials for our US Retail Clients. The Analyst will also develop and maintain the related processes and documentation required to support the delivery of a range of client deliverables for AllianceBernstein's US Retail Clients.

Job Description

Specific functions include, but are not limited to:

  • "Process Map" All US Retail Client Requests: The analyst will assess each deliverable required to service US Retail clients and, after analysis, write and formally document ("process map") all instructions, processes, and systems used to complete each deliverable, so that the delivery team (Acuity) can then produce the resulting reports and servicing requests consistently and efficiently each time in an accurate and industry-leading manner. Current vehicles within scope are AllianceBernstein US 40 Act Funds, ETFs, and Retail SMAs.
  • Improve Approaches for Handling Existing US Retail Client Requests: For existing US Retail Client deliverables, the analyst will work with Client Response Center management to evaluate the current methodology for completion and identify improvements and efficiencies where possible. Analyze whether all compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements are being met and consistent best practices are being employed. Work with Client Response Center management, Information Center and other stakeholders (SRG, US Retail Distribution, GBDO) as needed to redesign existing servicing reports, documents, and approaches to reflect best practices, to make optimal use of automation technology where applicable, and to fully leverage existing systems and data, all with the objective of making our US Retail Client servicing deliverables more effective, professional, consistent, leveragable, risk controlled, and scalable.
  • Provide Guidance to DDQ Delivery Team: Provide guidance to the Acuity delivery team as needed, training them on the best practices for US Retail client servicing, by vehicle. Review finished drafts of those deliverables as needed, ensuring all compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements are being met for each vehicle type. Act as a player-coach for Acuity Team deliverables when needed during high-volume periods, completing deliverables directly when needed so that all deadlines can be met.
  • Complete Certain US Retail Client Requests Directly: As requested by Client Response Center management, directly complete certain US Retail client requests, documenting the approach ("process mapping"). Adhere to the best practices as developed by the Client Response Center when completing, including ensuring all compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements are met. Deliver in a timely manner.
  • Develop New Client Deliverables as Needed: Work with Client Response Center management, the Information Center, and our GBDO Teams to create templates for new client reports where needed. In doing so, seek efficiencies, leverage, and scale while ensuring regulatory and other risk control requirements are met.

Job Qualifications & Key Attributes
