The focus of this position will be to assist with external and internal clients in both a customer service and top-line technical support capacity. This position is responsible for fielding incoming calls and e-mails from our clients, as well as assisting our sales colleagues with various client-related administrative tasks. In addition, this person will work with existing clients across all industries providing solutions to ad-hoc requests that are not considered to be custom work. Client Support employees are seen as experts on all Mintel databases, knowledgeable of their respective business interests and, above all, extremely professional.

This role will be required to report to our US headquarters office in Chicago, working a hybrid schedule with the preference of one day onsite per week. We require the individual to have eligible working rights in the United States. Interviews and onboarding are currently being conducted virtually.      

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Fielding client and prospect phone or e-mail inquiries regarding Mintel products in the following areas of business and website functionality including log-in issues, searching, reporting, basic site navigation, and lead processing / referrals
  • Assisting Account Mangers and Salespeople on special client-related projects which may include phone and Web-Ex training, key client ROI strengthening projects, and building user lists for existing accounts
  • Assisting Account Managers, Salespeople and Executives with some day-to-day administrative duties like contract processing in Salesforce.com, sales summaries, and usage reporting
  • Managing a small portfolio of lower spending clients to maintain relationships, drive engagement and secure renewals
  • Assisting in the strategy, development and deployment of our sales processes and procedures as related to our CRM, Portal, Email Marketing and Usage sites
  • Capturing all customer interaction in our CRM (salesforce.com)
