Job Description
Summary
The Client Services Manager has demonstrated experience in a services delivery role and is primarily responsible for the day to day management of services team members. This role focuses on assessing quality of work, resourcing needs for contracted services, continuously developing employees at various levels of experience, as well as daily operational activities. The Client Services Manager provides feedback from the field to identify areas of improvement and continued learning opportunities.
Responsibilities
Provides oversight on team's performance and assists in measuring quality of work
Guides and supports their team with their services delivery to customers and partners
Drives accountability within their team on administrative and operational activities
Directly and indirectly interfaces with customers and partners to manage relationships, mitigate risks, and resolve issues
Maintains and enhances knowledge of financial, risk, or operational reporting using the Workiva platform through a commitment to ongoing training
Successfully provides coaching and mentoring to their team, assists onboarding of new associates, and leads on-going training efforts
Ensures that documentation of Workiva platform best practices is maintained and leads to implementation standardization
Collaborates cross functionally to participate in organizational improvement initiatives
What You'll Need
Education
Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
Experience
5+ years of experience in service delivery role, finance, accounting, audit, or a related field with demonstrable leadership skills
Experience with ERP, GRC, GL, FP&A, or Analytics & Reporting solutions and their related technology platforms.
Hands on technical experience with the Workiva platform, other SaaS and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with data architecture schemas preferred
Management experience or elevated individual contributor skills at a services company or public accounting firm preferred

Ability to present topics clearly and succinctly
Self-motivated with strong propensity for action, results and continuous improvement
Capable of developing, training, and mentoring others within the organization.
Ability to influence and drive change in business processes
A leader with intellectual curiosity to positively impact the organization through their ability to delegate, leverage and develop talent.
Enhanced technology knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Google Workspace applications. Familiarity with any of the following: SQL, JSON, REST, or Python is a plus
Demonstrated ability to curate and maintain customer-first relationships
Travel
Up to 25% travel
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
