This position will be a hybrid work arrangement, which translates to 3 days minimum per week in the office.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to join the Quantitative Investment Science (QIS) team focusing on supporting the development of investment content for use with HarbourVest's clients. This role is integrated within the 30+ person QIS team while working closely across the firm including marketing, investor relations, client service, investments, operations, performance, and compliance. This role is ideal for someone who is both intellectually curious and creative, and can approach data analysis and clearly communicate complex ideas and insights to clients.

The ideal candidate is someone who is:

• Highly proficient across the Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint with the ability to create compelling presentations incorporating a broad range of topics and audiences
• Able to perform basic data analysis using Excel and source data from external/internal applications (e.g. Pitchbook, Preqin, Burgiss, etc.)
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and project management skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at the same time
• Highly passionate/ motivated (self-starter), intelligent, independent and curious
• Collaborative, who works effectively in a team environment
• Passion for investments with proven knowledge of financial markets would be a plus

What you will do:

• Assist in all aspects of QIS content development and maintenance including project management, analysis, graphic design, incorporating feedback, regulatory sign-off, distribution, and library management
• Contribute to ad-hoc client requests and projects
• Draft commentary and communications (RFPs, e-mails, speaking points, whitepaper passages, etc.)
• Responsible for monitoring and communicating competitor capabilities and content
• Track and monitor ongoing team deliverables and KPIs
• And other responsibilities as required

• Strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of financial markets, private equity and debt a plus

Education Preferred

• Bachelor's degree with strong academic credentials

Experience

• 3-5 years of proven experience
• Investment management, financial services, or private equity experience preferred
