Client Solutions Digital Director Summary:
CS Technology is seeking to hire a Client Solutions Digital Director to support our initiatives within the Client Solutions work stream. Consulting seeks to create new managed services and client solutions that require technical leadership, enterprenuaral spirit, architecture, methodology and compliance. The individual will be responsible for facilitating discovery of revenue generating client solution products through a business case, vetting, evaluation, implementation, and future development & support. This role will assist in guidance of these initiatives working with Solution Owners, Solution Teams, MTS, Project Manager, Consultants, Vendor, IT, Consulting Technology, and Consulting Leadership.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Client Solutions Development
- Establish and have responsibility for an integrated advanced technology management infrastructure including, and not limited to, request intake, scoping and vetting, leadership approval and prioritization, development resources and activity (either directly or through matrixed resource management) and initiative delivery, deployment, and ROI tracking.
- Manage the collective, integrated advanced technology client solutions roadmap
- Partner with RSM counterparts and consulting leadership to develop and manage a solution-specific resourcing strategy that leverages IT and / or innovation resources as appropriate, aligns with and is incorporated into the overall CS IT systems strategy, and optimizes opportunity for client revenue generation
- Partner with Consulting Solution Owners and teams to create standard business case development, ROI models and software pricing & costing models.
- Setup each solution with our MTS support methodology to ensure each solution is being properly managed in our DASH Service Now instance
- Ensure the proper setup, time entry and billing protocols to ensure we are tracking investments and financial returns of our ROI models
Digital Transformation Technology Leadership
- Shaping technology vision - develop a technical strategy for revenue generating consulting client solutions.
- Leads working closely with our consulting practitioners, IT and SMEs within the firm to suggest likely technical platforms to use on the project or client solution. The client solution requires such considerations as the number of developers available, the cost of developers, the cost of the framework, deployment time, security, community support, and fitting for business vision.
- Works directly with IT, CS Ops, and CS Technology in a matrixed team to establish foundations for governance, standard process, and technology to deliver speed to market, quicker access to technology, and a trusted platform to build products for consulting.
- Attracting and mentoring talented engineers - leads efforts for interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of engineers. Mentor tech talent who can be later trusted with critical functions, and they need to have the engineering expertise to evaluate technical knowledge.
- Technology enablement - Lead maturing each client solution with new services and DevOps techniques to ensure we have gained efficiencies with examples such as Terraform scripts, Kubernetes, etc.
Solutions Oversight & Roadmap
- Product roadmap - Responsible for establishing process for MVP solution through to Product Release and collaborating with clients, partners, consulting, IT, Marketing, Security, and Data privacy to gain real-time user feedback as fast as possible. Will be responsible for a series of product iterations, and they are accountable to ensure a quality final product for consulting.
- Updating architecture - established the necessary processes for updating and maintaining product architecture diagrams, process and leads efforts working with Consulting, CS Tech team, and IT.
Methodology, Compliance & Security
- Operational excellence - Will optimize operations by enabling agility, security, quality assurance and within the product ecosystems the services are built upon. The operating model developed by CSDD is needed to bridge business and technology strategy.
- Methodology - Leverage an agile methodology to seek to collect client feedback via channels from clients, consultants, support & change requests via DASH to ensure we follow a methodology that prioritizes and efficiently manages changes through the product life cycle.
- Compliance & Security - Our role is to ensure these components are paramount in building safe and secure products that our clients leverage from RSM. The role will lead partnering with IT, Security, Data security, Compliance, NORM to ensure that any product created is adhering to a compliance requirement as deemed necessary for the industry such as SOC 2 type 1, penetration testing, and governance of the periodic nature of testing to ensure we have validation
- Additional responsibilities as assigned to curate additional projects and initiatives coming from the CS Technology Consulting Organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor degree in Business, technology or a related field required
- Masters degree preferred

- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook

Experience
- 15-20 years of professional experience with business or IT
- 10 years of project / program management experience
- 5 years of Product Management or Business Analyst experience. Minimum of five years experience working with management level individuals
- Minimum of five years experience working in a professional services firm; consulting preferred
- Previous experience in managing others in a team environment - direct or indirectly
- Experience working in an ambigous environment where new emerging ideas are curated and seeks to define the people, process and procedures to effectuate change.
- Experience in navigating in a matrix reporting environment solving/resolving complex issues

- Ability to define business requirements, present options and secure management buy-in on appropriate solutions
- Applies technical/procedural requirements of the position based on knowledge and experience within specialization
