Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Configure and install new computer hardware and software.
  • Maintain and repair computer and printer hardware on a timely and efficient basis keeping records of such activity.
  • Review performance of hardware items and vendor support and make recommendations for replacement, update and/or acquisition of new items as appropriate.
  • Maintain inventory of shop equipment keeping appropriate records.
  • Install various types of equipment and systems such as personal computers, printers, internal TV information systems, etc.
  • Engage in learning opportunities, which enhance or increase expertise in the technical requirements of the job such as workshops, seminars, reading or technical information resources, etc.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Associate's degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
