Job Summary  

This Client Technology Staging Engineer position will focus on User Lifecycle Management (ULM) which includes the provisioning and removal of user account services across the Abacus client base.  Adding and removing these services touches on all Abacus platform features and therefore offers a wide range of exposure to the underlying technologies that make up the Abacus products.  This position requires highly organized and self-driven qualities.  A candidate that will be a good will look for opportunities to expedite the process through automation and collaboration with other teams in the organization.  The position comes with high visibility as it is the first and lasting impression a client has about our organization. 

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to the following): 

  • Handle new user requests, staging users for a variety of our services
  • Handle user off-boardings, ensuring data integrity and handoff  
  • QA of services offered to users (Citrix, Email, File Access, etc.)
  • Ownership and follow up of pending issues to resolution 

Skills

  • Knowledge of Windows Server Technologies including Active Directory, DNS & DHCP
  • Knowledge of public cloud technologies, such as Office 365 and Azure in particular 
  • Understanding of Citrix XenApp/Desktop and profile management
  • Highly logical thinker with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and with short deadlines
  • Must have availability to occasionally work nights and some weekends 
  • Familiarity with PowerShell preferred
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a client facing position 
  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in an system administration role 
  • Associate level certifications a plus 
  • Ability to commute to NYC office on a hybrid basis
