Client Trading Support Specialist

The Client Services team is a newly created team responsible for managing Hudson River Trading (HRT)’s live client trading environment. This team will help HRT create and maintain the most robust and efficient trading platform in the world. This includes configuring, monitoring, and optimizing the firm’s trading as well as handling risk, regulatory, and development tasks. The Client Services team will be focused on automating common tasks and preparing for the unexpected in project areas like market access, monitoring, and compliance.

Being a member of the Client Services team at HRT means working on a tight-knit, highly productive team. We're looking for someone who loves technology and wants to work on a broad range of projects by leveraging whatever tools best solve the problem at hand. Excellent communication is a must, along with a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Monitor order flow from HRT’s clients
• Respond to external market alerts and outages
• Interface with clients and other external parties to support trading
• Support the desk's communication around the protocols behind equity executions
• Address questions and concerns around fills, orders, or trades in response to client inquiries
• Proactively inform clients of any changes to splits, dividends, CUSIP, etc., and perform various system maintenance tasks
• Act as a liaison between clients and HRT’s internal teams and infrastructure
• Contribute to rotational team-wide production management coverage

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Understanding of on-exchange, off-exchange, and OTC products
• Experience supporting trading systems, preferably electronic trading 
• Series 7/57 certification
• Experience supporting client-facing business
