Climate Tech Reporter

Quick take: Axios is a growth-stage company dedicated to providing trustworthy, award-winning news content in an audience-first format. We are hiring a climate tech reporter for  a one-year old paid subscription news product that expands our Pro Rata coverage of deals and dealmakers.

Why it matters: Since 2017, Axios has built a newsroom of more than 200 talented journalists committed to providing our readers the most trustworthy information in the most efficient way possible. The Climate Tech Deals Reporter will work with a partner to write a daily deals newsletter with a sharp eye on scoops and big picture trend stories — this coverage will zero in on the trillions of dollars pouring into new and existing companies focused on combating climate change and the future of energy generation.

Go deeper: In this role, you will make an impact to Axios through the following responsibilities:

• Deliver THE daily, must-read newsletter for climate tech and energy dealmakers
• Land scoops and illuminate the biggest industry trends
• Work with the Axios business team and the broader Axios newsroom to elevate all of our coverage on climate and energy technology, via virtual and in-person events. 
• Cover deals, deal trends and industry trends of all businesses that are primarily focused on fighting climate change and the energy transition
