SUMMARY 

The Clinical Continuous Improvement Program Manager engaged in all aspects of collaboration with Physicians and Operations leadership, coordinating across project teams, and providing continuous improvement in the way of innovative and proactive solutions.  This individual is responsible for managing projects and project teams to achieve strategic clinical objectives and reach successful patient outcomes. Project assignments, team size and duration will vary in scope, complexity and quantity to ensure appropriate attention to project details. Tasks will be related to Project scoping, planning, execution, analysis and tracking, change management, team facilitation, risk/issue identification and mitigation, stakeholder tollgates and reporting. Specific areas of focus will include quality, education, research & development, and innovation. 

  • Works with major functional area leaders to identify and evaluate fundamental needs, interpret data on complex issues, make good business decisions and ensure innovative solutions are implemented to ensure the highest levels of patient care.
  • Manage the full project life cycle including requirements gathering, creation of project plans and schedules, obtaining and managing resources, creating & managing budgets and facilitating project execution, deployment, closure and evaluation
  • Develop work breakdown structure, timeline, dependencies, key performance indicators & success factors, and milestones. Build project approval and charter documents.
  • Plan, organize, monitor and support the projects with internal and external stakeholders to deliver defined requirements and meet organization and strategic objectives and deliverables
  • Managing and maintaining detailed project documentation including project plans, action items, risk or issues list
  • Monitor the creation of all project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards and brand experience
  • Engage leadership and cross functional teams, serving as the central hub where all strategic initiatives and associated people, project, program and organizational measurements and communications meet
  • Works in cross-functional partnership with Ophthalmology division leadership, data analysts & biostatistician teams to implement project deliverables.
  • Establishes metrics and goals/success criteria and milestones.
  • Develop knowledge and skills to reinforce the ECP Mission, Vision and Values with leaders and employees.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong project management background with ability to listen, communicate effectively and clearly and collaborate with many people internally, with MDs, Medical Executive Board, executive leadership and/or external partners
  • Demonstrates high cultural awareness by leading multi-regional teams/initiatives and ability to work in a matrix environment.
  • Embodies the spirit of the innovation team & acts as a positive change champion
  • Effective written and verbal communication with the ability to flex own style as needed to influence and drive results.
  • Demonstrated experience effectively building relationships, influencing decisions, and working with providers and leaders.
  • Ability to effectively establish metrics and milestones and consistently execute on that success criteria.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Master’s Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience managing projects or programs in a healthcare, audit, consulting setting.

LICENSES AND CREDENTIALS

  • Project Management Profession (PMP) certification, preferred.

SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY 


  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Google product.
  • Experience with multiple PMR and EHR systems, preferred.
