Clinical Lab Assistant

Position Details:

Location: 13000 N. Meridian St., Suite 100 Carmel IN 46032

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1pm-9:30pm / No weekends or holidays!

Specialty: Clinical Laboratory

Primary Responsibilities:

• Accession and barcode specimens
• Perform kit testing according to manufacturer's specifications
• Provide phone support to all sites regarding specimen collection, add-on testing, missing results, substandard specimens, and electronic procedures
• Perform lab testing according to validated training
• Assist lab Medical Technologists as needed

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience working in a laboratory setting (work or education)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a clinical lab handling patient specimen samples (blood, urine or tissue)
• Experience receiving, accessioning, labeling and aliquoting patient samples
